One Hundred and Thirty Five

Ryan petitioned for a speedbump on our street a few weeks ago, and we got it!

One Hundred and Sixteen

I hung nine photos today with some frames I got as a birthday present in October...glad to finally be using them!

Clockwise from the top, you're looking at

1. My cat, taken with my Holga and then drawn on with sharpie.
2. Ryan's birthday mural, taken by my ghost camera. You can see the ghost if you look carefully.
3. Puppets I got in the market in Oaxaca, Mexico, taken by my Fisheye Lomo camera.
4. Me blowing out the candles on my 23rd birthday cake. Look at those pretty dredlocks!
5. The beach in Varadero Cuba, taken by my weird blue camera.
6. A no-smoking sign on a ferry to Bella Coola, B.C. turned into a bird
7. An old polaroid of Ryan in Mexico holding a snake?
8. An experimental photo taken with my Holga of the kids' Chewbacca poster.
9. Another Cuba picture, it says "It's prohibited to bathe yourself in the bathroom."

One Hundred And Nine

I rainbowed up our fireplace mantel last night. Good times.

Sixty Six

Goldfish crackers swimming in a sea of roasted red pepper and tomato soup.
Perfect for these chilly days.

Thirty Eight

I was trying to provoke the cat into making her world-famous sneer face. One side of the lip goes up like a growling dog and the rest stays relaxed. It's her most effective move against me getting her in trouble because it makes me laugh hysterically every time I see it.

In the last picture you can see she was close to doing it, but alas, it never happens when the camera is out.

Obviously this was taken on my day off.

fourteen

I was told that the photos in 365 projects
are meant to be taken each day.
So I'm going to try
and do it that way from now on.

Someone should sweep our sidewalk.
Don't look at me, that's what kids are for.
I'll give them a dollar.

It's official. We have a chair graveyard behind our house.
